Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you'll be one of the payroll superstars at Reward, making sure everyone's pay lands in their bank on time, every time—no dramas, no stress. This is a fixed term (up to 6 months) position where you'll be a core member of the People and Culture team, supporting our crew by keeping records spotless, answering payroll questions with a friendly smile (and a heap of know-how), and making sure we always play by the rules. Plus, your knack for confidentiality and integrity means our team's trust is safe with you.

Get ready to be the heartbeat of our payroll team Every week, you'll be the go-to person making sure everyone gets paid accurately and right on time—so pay day is always something to look forward to. You'll keep our employee records up-to-date, handle every new starter, mover, and change with ease, and jump on requests with a can-do attitude.
Spot a payroll hiccup? You'll be the problem-solver, sorting out discrepancies with care and managing weekly terminations smoothly so everyone's in good hands. You'll navigate policies, procedures, awards, EBAs and regulations with confidence, ensuring everything's above board.
Love to help? You'll be working closely with other teams, making sure our payroll is spot-on across the board. Our shared payroll inbox will be your domain—you'll provide prompt, friendly responses, making payroll support a breeze.

About you

With hands-on experience in ACCESS (Microsoft) and Definitiv, you'll be the payroll guru who keeps things ticking along smoothly from start to finish. If you've spent 2–3 years diving into payroll and know your way around employment legislation—think Fair Work Act, award interpretation, long service leave, superannuation, and tax—you'll fit right in
Your sharp Excel skills, keen eye for detail, and love of numbers will make you a true asset. You'll be the go-to person for customer service, shining both independently and as part of a close-knit corporate crew.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
· You're experienced with Sage Micro Pay (payroll).
· You're familiar with ACCESS - Definitiv.
· You know your way around World Manager (The Venue) intranet.
· You're confident using Humanforce/Time Target.
· Ideally, you hold a tertiary qualification in HR, payroll, accounting, or a related field.
