Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Intake and Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing client intake, providing social support, building relationships with other services, and completing administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in an administrative role, preferably in a community service setting. They will also have experience working with young people who have complex needs, and an interest in advocating for those involved in the criminal justice system.
This is a maximum term position until 30th June 2026, working 38 hours per week. You will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes the safety and well-being of everyone, both within the organization and the individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with new referrals and enquiries
* Provide ad hoc social support and referrals for clients
* Build and maintain networks with other services
* Complete administrative duties for efficient service operation
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in an administrative role
* Experience working with/advocating for young people with complex needs
* An interest in working with young people with legal issues
* Competence in MS Office products
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Valid First aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
