Accountant Job Opportunity
Job Overview:
Randstad Senior Finance is partnering with a community-focused, not-for-profit organisation to fill an Accountant position. The role involves overseeing day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring compliance across the organisation.

Responsibilities:
* End-to-end responsibility for the month-end close and reporting process.
* Maintaining the General Ledger and Fixed Asset register.
* Preparing and distributing the month-end reporting pack, complete with management commentary, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
* Business partnering with managers to analyse performance and collaborate on continuous improvement opportunities.
* Assisting with internal and external financial audits and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax laws.
* Developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Requirements:
* CA or CPA qualification.
* Solid experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within Australia.
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to problem-solve.
* Willingness to undertake a Police Check and a Working with Children's Check.
* Experience with ERP systems and exposure to PowerBI would be highly regarded.
