**Job Purpose**:

- Lead, manage and mentor the Australasian Business Development Team.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth outside of current contracts.
- Contribute to the development and execution of Sales strategy within the region.
- Support the integration of Modular Technologies and Mineware into the 'One Komatsu' vision.

**Travel Requirements**:
Up to 25%.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor and manage the business development team (functional oversight of Indonesian office) to optimise the skillsets to meet current and future business needs whilst focusing on the employee's career development.
- Personally seek out and pursue opportunities for product and project sales within Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts outside of the current customer base.
- Implement new product campaigns that align with corporate new product development and product roadmaps
- Work closely with your internal stakeholders to contribute to the development of a global sales strategy.
- Produce and gain approval for a regional Operational Sales Plan (OSP) setting out the actions of you and your team which will achieve the financial goals for the region.
- Quote and Tender Preparation - Define and scope robust solutions that are client focused based on client needs demonstrating the "Value-in-Use".
- Ensure alignment with other Komatsu account management and sales teams, ensuring a 'one face' to the customer approach, and promoting Komatsu wide business interests.

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing or IT related discipline or related experience
- Extensive experience in heavy industrial engineering or mining products and/or services.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with an emphasis on "impact without authority".
- Strong commercial skillset - packaging and pricing multiple products into a single solution.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and effectively communicate value propositions and sales enablement tools.

**Desired Skills**:

- Previous people leader experience preferred.
- Use of CRM - Salesforce preferred.
- Exposure to budgeting and forecasting tools such as Adaptive.
