The Role
Due to continued growth and expansion of our South Australian operations, we are looking for an experienced Driller (Geotechnical / Environmental).
Based in Adelaide, the successful candidate will join a strong local team and will be a member of the broader QEST Drilling team located in Victoria and Queensland.
Working in Adelaide and surrounding areas, this position will work on a variety of construction and site-based projects.
Role requirements:
* Safe and efficient operation of all plant, equipment, and vehicles.
* Collaborate with Clients/Project Managers/Engineers as required to achieve project objectives and ensuring a quality experience for the QEST the customer.
* Conduct equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
* Adhere to all Company and legislative WHS policies and procedures.
* Ability to work extended hours and travel away from home from time to time.
About You
To be successful in this role, candidates will have:
* Experience in similar roles of 4+ years.
* Sonic drilling experience advantageous.
* Effective client management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* White Card.
* Minimum MR Truck licence.
* Drillers' licence advantageous.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and pass any/all random drug and alcohol tests.
