About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and people-focused HSEQ Manager to join our leadership team. You will be a key driver of our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality strategy—guiding safe practices, mentoring teams, and elevating a genuine safety-first culture across all our projects.
You'll work closely with project managers, site foreman, carpenters and the Directors to embed proactive systems, ensure legislative compliance and foster a workplace that values well being, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee all HSEQ systems and compliance across multiple job sites
* Develop and deliver training, toolbox talks, and proactive education initiatives
* Conduct site audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and ensure corrective actions
* Collaborate with operational and project teams to develop site-specific safety plans
* Champion a strong, positive HSEQ culture and act as a trusted advisor to project leadership
* Ensure alignment with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices
What We’re Looking For
* 10+ years' HSEQ experience in commercial construction
* Proven success in building culture and leading behavioural change
* Strong working knowledge of Victorian WHS/OHS legislation
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
* Cert IV (or higher) in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
