Service Advisor
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Service Advisor, where you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and schedule repair bookings for customers
* Handle service-related queries from customers
* Create job cards and assist with customer invoicing and purchase orders
* Update customers and rebook appointments for follow-up or repairs
* Ensure technicians have completed repair order information by checking stories, parts, kilometres etc.
* Confirm customers or drivers have signed repair orders to authorise repairs
* Ensure vehicles are road tested and acceptable in presentation to present back to customers
* Use your expertise to advise and provide guidance to technicians and apprentices regarding customers' vehicle concerns
* Work a rotating Saturday roster to provide additional support to customers
Working with Our Team:
You will be working in a small team of Service Advisors and Costing Clerks, reporting through the Customer Service Supervisor to the Workshop Manager. The greater workshop team consists of around 35 members, including Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, and Apprentices.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Automotive industry experience, particularly with trucks and buses
* Good mechanical knowledge
* Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive working style
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
* Availability to work a rotating Saturday
