It is therefore not available to overseas applicants seeking a single year of practice in Australia.SalaryBase salary is $134,930 to $189,005 per annum, depending on experience (3rd year registrars would usually commence at a base of at least $148,320). Note that the total remuneration package is well supplemented by an on call allowance, overtime rates, and phone call and call back rates when on call. These allowances would typically increase salary by around $30,000-$40,000 over base.
