Employment Opportunity — Temporary Library Officer – Mogumber Library
The Shire Victoria Plains is in the central wheatbelt of Western Australia 153 kms north-east of Perth and just 75 minutes from Ellenbrook. Traditionally a prosperous farming district, the shire is home to unique attractions such as Australia's only Monastic Town, New Norcia, and a European Space Agency (ESA) ground station. The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Temporary Library Officer based in Mogumber. This is a great opportunity to support the community while gaining experience in Local Government.
Responsibilities
* Delivering prompt, professional customer service for enquiries.
* Maintaining accurate records/filing systems in accordance with established procedures.
* Maintaining order in the library.
* Deliver Rhyme Time and Storytelling on Fridays.
* Report maintenance issues through Correct Channels.
* Communication and computer use.
Selection Criteria
* High degree of personal integrity.
* Ability to work unsupervised and meet expectations.
* Flexible approach to tasks.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
* Current C class driver's licence.
Remuneration and Terms
Salary will be based on LGO Award 2021, plus 12% Guarantee Super and an additional 6.5% subject to co-contribution option. Casual fixed term position.
