Following an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Payroll Officer to join our Finance team based in Silverwater.
About the Role
This role plays a critical part in maintaining payroll accuracy, compliance and employee trust across multiple entities within the Group.
You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll delivery, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while supporting statutory reporting and award interpretation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll across Group entities
* Preparation and reconciliation of PAYG, superannuation and payroll tax reporting
* Managing employee payroll enquiries with professionalism and accuracy
* Processing terminations, adjustments and maintaining data integrity
* Interpretation and application of relevant awards and agreements
* Supporting audit, compliance and reporting activities
* Contributing to continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls
What You'll Bring
* Demonstrated payroll experience in a medium-to-large organisation
* Strong understanding of payroll compliance obligations and reporting
* Exceptional accuracy, discretion and attention to detail
* Experience using UKG/Kronos and Payroll Metrics (highly regarded)
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines independently
