Recently, Talent Advisory together with our partner in business, were able to successfully place a Site Supervisor into their Hobart based, Southern Tasmanian team. As a result of additional project wins and an increased workload, Talent Advisory is seeking an additional experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our clients project delivery team in Hobart.
This role is central to the successful day to day management of their construction projects and will suit someone who thrives on leading trades, coordinating schedules, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
About the Role
As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and supporting the Project Manager to keep projects on track. You’ll play a hands-on leadership role, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality are maintained across all aspects of the build.
Key Responsibilities
• Onsite supervision of all trades and activities
• Running daily toolbox meetings and maintaining site diaries
• Coordinating deliveries, equipment and site set-ups
• Monitoring and driving works according to the project program (Gantt chart)
• Ensuring site safety, security, and housekeeping standards are maintained
• Supporting the PM with purchase orders, invoice approvals, and defect walks during construction
• Providing daily updates to the Project Manager
About You
• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor (commercial, industrial or residential construction)
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards and site management practices
• Ability to lead and motivate subcontractors and site teams
• Well-organised with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Current White Card; First Aid desirable
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to client service
