About The Role
As a Trades Assistant (Signwriting) you will help design and create signage that supports the maintenance of essential traffic facilities infrastructure. You will work closely with the supervisor in the council's sign fabrication workshop to create high quality signage for the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the design and creation of signs and graphics
* Assist with the installation, removal and repair of signage
* Maintain sign shop areas and equipment
* Communicate with the team and work crews
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Current C Class Drivers Licence
* General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) card
* Experience in sign fabrication, sign making equipment and computer software
* The ability to work as part of a team
* A focus on safety while meeting deadlines
