Key Role in Business Restructuring and Insolvency Division:
Senior Insolvency Accountant
This is a key role in our business restructuring and insolvency division, where you will work with diverse clients and report directly to partners.
* Assist with planning assignments using control forms, checklists, and quality procedures.
* Investigate insolvent entities' finances, analyzing financial statements and records.
* Prepare reports for external stakeholders.
* Handle stakeholder inquiries via phone and written communication.
* Manage VAs with managerial assistance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 4–5+ years relevant insolvency experience.
* Strong investigation skills and a successful track record in recovering voidable transactions.
* Experience with Australian insolvency legislation.
* Understanding of the Corporations Act and related laws.
* Bachelor of Business or similar qualification.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proactive, responsible, with a positive attitude.
* Willing to mentor junior staff.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, MYOB.
