As an Estimator/ Project Coordinator, you will be joining a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of wear products and services for mining equipment.

What's the Role:Reporting to the Operations Lead, you will manage the commercial and technical aspects of manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with our business objectives, policies, and procedures.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Supervisors, Purchasing, Senior Management, and external parties to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental performance.
You will deliver accurate, timely project estimates and quotations, covering scope, cost, quality, technical, delivery, safety, and environmental factors.
You will develop detailed scopes, resolve errors, analyse costs, assess risks, and prepare tenders, while collaborating with procurement for competitive pricing.You will coordinate projects to meet safety, quality, and technical standards through effective job package management, material and service procurement, and delivery coordination.
You will ensure technical and commercial compliance, mitigate risks, track progress, liaise with customers, capture costs, and report to the Operations Lead.
You will plan safe work and ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental standards, promoting safety procedures and policies throughout project execution.
Key Technical Criteria: Possesses an engineering trade background (preferably a Boilermaker) with preferred studies in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Experienced in managing heavy and light manufacturing fabrication and machining operations or manufacturing projects.
Exhibits strong detail orientation, proactivity, and analytical skills.
Demonstrates excellent communication abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experienced in project coordination and estimation within a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and estimation tools The role is based in Mount Thorley.
