This role sits across both project delivery and operational support, with a strong emphasis on Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies. You’ll work across cloud and hybrid infrastructure, leading implementations, supporting complex environments and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions. There is also the opportunity to contribute to pre-sales activities, partnering with sales teams to shape solutions and support client engagements. Day to day duties include: Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure environments (IaaS, PaaS, virtual networks, storage, compute) Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams Manage identity and access through Azure AD / Entra ID, including Conditional Access and MFA Support and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy environments Lead and deliver cloud migrations (on-prem to Azure, M365 tenant migrations) Implement and manage virtualisation platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) Maintain backup, disaster recovery and security controls across cloud and on-prem systems Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and scripting where possible Collaborate with internal teams and clients to translate business needs into technical solutions Contribute to pre-sales activities including solution design, technical input into proposals and client presentations Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a Senior Systems Engineer or similar role Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments Demonstrated experience working within an MSP / managed services environment (supporting multiple clients, competing priorities, SLAs) Solid understanding of identity, networking, and security principles within cloud ecosystems Experience managing hybrid environments (on-prem cloud integration) Advanced troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, cloud and end-user services Experience delivering both project-based work and BAU support Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Previous pre sales experience preferred but not essential How to apply If you are well suited to this opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.
