This dual-role position offers a unique opportunity to shape service delivery and support vulnerable populations in a vibrant regional setting.
Key Responsibilities: Lead quality and safety development across Adult Mental Health Services Optimise least restrictive practices and support clinical governance Provide psychiatric care to homeless individuals via the HHOT service Participate in teaching, supervision, audits, and research Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to service innovation Candidate Requirements: Fellowship with RANZCP and specialist registration with AHPRA (or eligibility for same)Experience in adult psychiatry and quality improvement Commitment to recovery-oriented and culturally safe care General driver's licence and compliance with VPD requirements Benefits: Work-life balance in tropical North Queensland Professional development allowance + 3.6 weeks p.a.
