· You are a Disability Support Worker with a minimum of two years-experience caring for clients.
· You excel in giving the highest level of care to vulnerable people who need our help and support, particularly those clients who are funded through NDIS, DVA and VHC packages.

About the role of a Disability Support Worker in DH Holistic Care:
· Assist with daily living, personal care, and community access to our clients, while also fostering skill-development and social inclusion.
· Assist with personal care tasks which include, but is not limited to showering, dressing, toileting.
· Support clients with daily tasks such as meal preparation and light domestic duties.
· Administer medication required.
· Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social activities and encourage clients to feel part of their local community.
· Encourage independence, participation, and skill-building when caring for each of our clients.
· Maintain respectful communication with clients always, including their families, friends and other stakeholders.
· We can offer a range of shifts which include 8-hour shifts, morning/afternoon/evening and full day shifts, fixed shifts, Monday to Friday shifts and rotating rosters.

· Certificate III or IV in Disability or a related field.
· Minimum 2 years' experience in the disability sector.
· NDIS Worker Screening Check.
· Medication Administration Certificate.
· Working with Children Check (WA).
· Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
· Unrestricted Working Rights in Australia.
· Driver's Licence including full access to a reliable and insured vehicle.
· Current Police Clearance Certificate (no more than 3 months old from the date of your application).
· Completion of New worker – NDIS induction modules.
· Evidence of COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccination.
· Manual Handling.
