About the Role:
A Maintenance Fitter is required to ensure a safe and efficient working environment in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintenance and be able to read engineering drawings. They should possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to train others.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in formulating action plans to drive continuous improvement in systems, ensuring they are efficient, transparent, and deliver required results.
* Maintain compliance with OHS&E legislation and regulations.
* Support managers, colleagues, and staff in implementing initiatives and delivering on projects.
* Ensure product quality meets customer expectations by maintaining processes and monitoring outgoing materials.
* Develop or improve systems and audits to maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
* Conduct compliance audits, identify issues, and rectify them in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* Practical experience in a maintenance environment.
* 'Hands on' ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
* Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to train and train others.
