We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Service Operations Coordinator.
About the Job
The successful applicant will be responsible for efficiently allocating breakdowns, scheduled maintenance and other repairs to technicians as required. This position ensures internal/external customer needs are identified and met.
Responsibilities:
* Book service work for retail and rental equipment.
* Coordinate and allocate service and breakdown jobs to technicians.
* Maintain information relating to service and breakdown jobs.
* Plan daily work to ensure labour available is utilised to its full capacity.
* Coordinate quoted Additional Repair jobs.
* Coordinate 3rdparty suppliers for breakdown jobs.
* Assist technicians with technical queries.
* Coordinate tool and safety equipment replacements as required.
* Monitor Technician's work hours on a daily basis.
Requirements
To succeed in this role you will need:
* Previous experience in a similar role where required to control/coordinate a team of remote technicians.
* Experience in the Material Handling Industry or Industrial Services Industry (desirable).
* Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel etc.).
* Proven experience using an ERP (M3, SAP etc.).
* Superior communication, interpersonal & time management skills.
* Strong telephone skills and experience responding to a high volume of customer queries over the phone.
* Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
* High attention to detail.
