In this role, you will:
* Apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
* Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
* Prepare client reports.
Project management and compliance
* Assume responsibility for the management of small, medium and some large-scale projects including duties such as pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budgets.
* Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies– e.g. WHS practices and Quality Assurance.
* Check structural engineers' work and provide technical guidance.
Who are we looking for
This role is ideally suited to someone with:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering
* Member of Engineers Australia, CPEng/NER
* At least 5 years' experience in structural engineering
* Software: Etabs, Spacegass, RAM, RAPT
* Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Ability to prioritise incoming work appropriately
* Excellent attention to detail
* Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
* Problem solving/analytical skills
