Our campuses offer tailored programs that integrate wellbeing and education, ensuring young people receive the individualised support they need to thrive. We work closely with families, community organisations, and support services to provide wraparound support that addresses both educational and personal development needs.

Our Young People
Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, environmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices.

We recognise that each young person’s journey is unique. Our staff are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and empowering learning environment where young people can develop confidence, reconnect with education, and work towards their goals.

Our Team
BlendED is our fully registered online campus, supporting young people who are unable to attend school in person due to complex health, mental health or social barriers. Many experience ‘school can’t’ and benefit from flexible learning, strong relationships and tailored wellbeing support that helps them re-engage at their own pace.

The Role

The Youth Worker Is responsible for is responsible to assist and to support a young person’s engagement in online learning. This position works collaboratively with Teachers, other Youth Workers, wellbeing staff and the school leadership. The employee in this position is required have a thorough knowledge of youth work and/or social work theories and practices and experience in applying this knowledge.

You will be employed on a Full Time, Ongoing basis, commencing in the new school year 2026, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

You will need

- Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty
- Tertiary Qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology and Behavioural Science and/or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months)
- Previous experience and/or qualifications relevant to supporting and/or leading an organisations commitment to being a child safe organisation
- Strong Interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with a range of people
- Experience in supporting young people with disability and/or neurodivergence
- The ability to inspire and engage young people with learning activities
- Be willing to support young people and our team members to reach their potential
