In this role, you will be responsible for ongoing performance, growth, and compliance of the Bullivants Sales Team in Newcastle. Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager and leading the local Business Development Managers and Customer Service Teams, your role will focus on growth and sales opportunities. Collaborating across teams and utilising reporting and market data, your expertise will help uplift the technical and consultative selling skills.
Some of the responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation of relevant branch and territory budgets
- Ensure alignment to the sales strategy to maximise growth opportunities
- Lead, coach, and develop Business Development Managers and Customer Service Team
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies in conjunction with the National Field Sales Manager
- Support with the development and maintenance of relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure satisfaction
- Act as the People Leader and support with recruitment, onboarding, and career development activities for your team
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support national initiatives, vendor partnerships, and the evolution of strategy
- Foster a culture of safety and ensure an ongoing commitment to health, safety and environment
Some of the skill required:
- Previous experience in a senior role within a Sales environment
- Demonstrable experience in leading and developing a team
- High level commercial acumen to support with solution development
- Experience with developing and managing budgets and forecasts
- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to bring people on a journey
- A customer focused approach and a proactive mindset
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based at Bullivants Newcastle. From time to time, there may be the requirement to travel to customer sites to achieve business objectives.
