We are seeking an Aquatic Programs Instructor to deliver high-quality aquatic programs at a leisure centre.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and lead Learn to Swim sessions for all ages and abilities
* Enhance program offerings through feedback and community engagement
* Supervise participants with care, educate patrons on safe aquatic practices, and contribute to staff development and community events
The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of passion, professionalism, and people-focused energy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
They will also possess a calm, supportive presence and be able to assess progress, tailor development plans, and help individuals build their confidence in the water.
Requirements:
* AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety certification
* AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infants & Preschoolers certification
* Aqua Instructor Certificate
* Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate
* Provide First Aid & CPR certification
* Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
