The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Producing panel shop drawings from architectural IFC documentation
* Rationalising panel layouts for fabrication efficiency
* Nesting optimisation and material yield control
* Programming toolpaths for:
* Aluminium composite panels (ACP)
* Solid aluminium
* Fibre cement
* Perforated panels
* Programming and managing:
* Flow Waterjet (FlowPath)
* ART CNC (Toolshop)
* AluRanger (XCAM)
* Managing post processors, tool libraries and machine setup standards
* Coordinating with estimating, factory and site teams
* Ensuring file structures align with job numbers and costing systemsQA of all files before release to factory
You will control the translation from architectural design to machine‐ready production.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has strong CNC programming experience (3+ years minimum)
* Has worked within façade, aluminium, sheet metal or advanced manufacturing
* Has hands‐on experience with FlowPath, Toolshop or XCAM (highly regarded)
* Understands nesting logic, tool wear, and material optimisation
* Can read and interpret architectural drawings
* Thinks in production sequencing, not just drafting
* Is structured, methodical and process‐driven
* Can take ownership without needing daily supervision
Facade panel experience will be highly regarded.
