ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We're currently seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join our Ancillary Maintenance team on a 7/7 roster in Blackwater, QLD. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Mechanical Supervisor will lead a team of skilled tradespeople responsible for ancillary maintenance. This role requires a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge, a focus on compliance and safety, and the ability to build trust and drive performance.

YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
* Current Coal Board Medical
* Current Standard 11
* Current G2 + S123
* Trade Certificate
* Current drivers licence
* Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
* Minimum 3 years of experience supervising Ancillary Maintenance or a similar role on a mine site
* Gas test atmospheres, confined space & working at heights
* EWP ticket (highly desirable)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems, and procedures
* Proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to solve problems in a constantly changing environment
The successful candidate will be an experienced maintenance professional with a proven track record managing operations and maintenance teams within the mining sector. Confident in allocating costs, planning service schedules, and ensuring all maintenance activities meet site specific and legislative standards. As a natural leader, you understand the value of communication, teamwork, and culture. You take pride in mentoring your team, maintaining strong client relationships, and upholding company values in every aspect of your work.
