The positions are full time, work includes a wide range of Arboricultural activities: tree pruning, shaping, removals, planting, preservation (plant health care, bracing, propping, etc), transplanting, etc. The Tree Company is an accredited sponsor with the Australian government, meaning visa applications will be streamlined (avoiding the 6-9 month wait currently)
Applicants must possess the professionalism and ability to work within the residential environment as well as council contracts and various large commercial sites. We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic people with experience in the industry. This is a great opportunity to join a team of committed Arborists, with fantastic career development. A minimum of 2 years’ full time experience in a similar role is required for this position.

The following qualifications would be highly regarded: - Certificate III in Hort/Arb or higher (for climbing Arborist) - Current Medium or Heavy Rigid Truck Driver's Licence - Any relevant industry tickets & experience - A strong work ethic, initiative, reliability, good people skills and physical fitness - Well-developed mechanical aptitude and skills - Ability to work within a team and independently - Knowledge & appreciation of OH&S practice

We have a staff of 50 including; qualified and trainee arborists, ground crew and management team. We are currently running 11 truck and chippers, 2 EWP's, tip trucks, utes, etc. We employ a number of arborists from the UK and as an accredited sponsor with the Australian Government, we can offer short turn around times on Visa applications so you can get out here sooner than advertised wait times. Arborists with 2 years experience should consider the 482 sponsored visa otherwise the working holiday visa is also an option. With the Government reviewing visa changes, Arborists are looking like they will have a pathway to PR towards the end of 2023!
