About the role
Aurizon is seeking a reliable and safety‐conscious team member to support the smooth operation of our depot store. In this hands‐on role, you'll play a key part in keeping our rollingstock running efficiently by ensuring the right materials are available when and where they're needed.
* Working a rotating (5/7) day/afternoon shift roster (38‐hour week)
* Performing routine inventory management processes, receiving, and dispatching stock and daily site operations
* Build, assemble and supply maintenance kits & picks as required.
* Provide excellent service to various customers and stakeholders.
* Conduct internal and vendor held stocktaking, inclusive of cycle counts.
* Identification and rectification of catalogue and supply faults
* Assist with the maintenance of warehouse security, safe operating conditions, and general housekeeping.
* Operating a forklift to safely load, secure and unload materials for delivery vehicles and the use of an internal high reach forklift.

* Ability to work with limited supervision and good communication skills.
* National C Class Driver's License (Mandatory).
* High Risk Work class LF License (Mandatory).
* Appropriate experience working in Warehousing (Minimum 3 years preferred).
* Relevant training in the use of Warehouse modules.
* Internal Isolation Lockout Training (Mandatory).
* Commitment to additional safety training and awareness packages including Dangerous Goods, Load restraint and Chain of Responsibility.
* SAP knowledge in Materials Management (Prefered)
* Strong understanding of policies and procedures.
* Basic Microsoft Suite capability including Outlook, Excel and Word.
