Key Responsibilities
Perform ECGs, draw bloods, swabs, etc. as required in treatment room. Engage in health promotion activities. Administer medication and monitor and manage doctors' bags, supplies and the same cupboard. Wound management and dressings. Provide assistance with minor surgical procedures. Triage patients. Administer immunisations as directed by GP. Provide assistance with health assessments, medical health assessments and chronic disease management activities.
Additional Reception & Administrative Duties
Assist reception staff with general reception duties. Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards of the clinic. Chaperone where required/requested. Assist GPs with minor surgical procedures such as fracture repair, suturing, implant on. Ensure outstanding client experience and excellent customer service to all patients. Complete eHealth uploads for each quarter. Any other administrative duties as directed by Practice Manager.

Experience & Qualifications Required
Must be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration. Previous experience in General Practice nursing is preferred. Skills in wound care, immunisations, and clinical documentation are advantageous. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Additional Duties
Work with the Practice Manager and principals to develop and maintain a suite of Practice policies and procedures, including infection control. Ensure consumables, equipment and medications are kept stocked and maintained to manufacturer's standards, including a Register of Stock. Colour code all items (medical consumables and perishables) and perform end-of-month checks for expiry dates. Maintain the cleanliness of clinical rooms to a high standard in accordance with national standards. Maintain Practice register for recalls/reminders and follow up on test results. Provide support for GPs in managing the fast flow through of patients.
Risk Management & Quality Improvement
Participate in practice risk management and quality improvement processes. Record incidents and near misses in line with practice policy. Practice duty of care, including meeting practice standards and accountability. Maintain patient and practice confidentiality at all times. Ensure clinical governance processes are in place.

Salary & Benefits
Salary packaging: $75,000 to $85,000 per year including other benefits.
