About This Role
This position involves working at the Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre Westmead, a purpose-built state of the art facility based at Westmead Hospital.
You will be involved in multidisciplinary team meetings for sarcoma, non-melanoma skin cancer, melanoma and thyroid cancer, and participate in the roster for on-call for the Acute Surgical Unit.
* We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Registrar to join our team.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate patients' conditions and develop treatment plans;
* Conduct surgical procedures and manage post-operative care;
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care;
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Ambulatory or non-ambulatory adult medicine experience;
* Skills in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning;
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
