This well established Precision Engineering company based in Moorabbin is a large supplier of product to various industries. They manufacture aluminium and metal components with their own in house tool room.
Offering versatile engineering solutions, they have become the strongest in their field and are here to stay. The growing company requires a Toolmaker / Tool Designer with experience in designing tools and fixtures for CNC machines

Induction and training will be given but you will need to display: Excellent communication skills CadCam skills. Trade qualifications Experience in both CNC machines and Manual Machinery The key functions of this role are: -To design, and manufacture CNC Machine tools and Jigs -Repair and maintenance of existing tooling
Skills that are required to succeed in this role include; -A Toolmaking trade Certificate/Diploma with extensive Toolmaking experience -Ability to comprehensively read and understand engineering drawings -Experience in manufacture, assembly and maintenance of CNC tooling -Ability to identify and troubleshoot all aspects of CNC machine tooling -Ability to machine components utilising an array of manual Toolroom machinery -Experienced in CNC, Lathe and Miling machines -Welding experience is an advantage but not necessary
