Your role at St John of God Healthcare at Home
We are seeking applications from Physiotherapists (Grade 2) to join our newly established Physiotherapy service on a casual or permanent part-time basis.
Our new service will focus primarily on Orthopaedic Hip & Knee cases. Preferred days of working will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
You will be expected to work independently and demonstrate a depth of experience, and participate in teaching, training, research and quality activities, to supervise students and supervise and mentor junior caregivers.
The Position
* Provide high quality evidence based senior Physiotherapy services to patients/clients within the clinical specialty area/s including hydrotherapy where applicable.
* Provide physiotherapy assessment, intervention and evaluation at a senior practice level for complex and general caseload/s.
* Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers.
* Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback - satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities
* Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of Physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised staff.
* Participate in evidence based clinical research activities, where applicable.
* Active participation in the multidisciplinary team including clinical meetings
We are seeking a someone with demonstrated clinical experience as a physiotherapist within the healthcare or disability service.
Successful applicants must be registered with Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a registered Physiotherapist and hold a current National Police Check.

We can offer you
* Salary: $95,432 to $114,129 (pro-rata for part-time) plus 12% Superannuation
* Casual rate: $60.17 to $71.96 per hour (inclusive of 25% loading) plus 12% Superannuation
* Permanent part-time or casual | 8:00am to 4:00pm
