About You As a History/Geography Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment.
You'll bring: a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary pedagogical practices ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students a tertiary qualification in Education NESA accreditation in History/Geography.
The ability to teach Religious Education is advantageous a commitment to academic excellence formative and summative assessments to drive student progress a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being ability to integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences interpersonal and effective communication skills to work with parents, students, staff and employers to support work placement, and opportunities in apprenticeships and traineeships demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team.
