Tanker Driver – Winnellie (NT), Australia | req28065
We are looking for an experienced HR Licenced LPG & CO2 Tanker / Cylinder Truck Driver available to operate out of our Darwin, NT branch.
Responsibilities
* Operate our 12 Tonne Truck in compliance with BOC standards, regulations and policy
* Complete daily and weekly inspections to ensure vehicle is fit for service, clean and presentable, with all documentation and safety equipment up to date and in test
* Timely delivery of paperwork and active co-operation with stakeholders
* Cooperate with branch staff in servicing customers, completing work, responding flexibly to demand, and contributing to a positive workplace environment
* Report compliance issues / OOD cylinders and conduct checks where required
* Ensure all incidents are reported to the Branch Manager
* Be safety conscious and abide by all regulations associated with the position
* Liaise with customers in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications
* Driving experience operating a Heavy Rigid (HR) Vehicle with a clear driving history
* Dangerous Goods handling certificate
* Experience in a retail sales environment will be highly advantageous
* Strong focus on customer service
* Excellent time management skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Industrial and safety equipment knowledge would be beneficial
* Forklift Licence will be highly regarded
