About the role
Our Telwater team is currently looking for Fit Out specialists to join the team. These positions are responsible for multiple fit out tasks across the section including foaming and installing floors, seating, wiring of dash and consoles, installing rod holders, accessories, navigational equipment and engine rigging into our boats. If you are willing to learn new skills, show initiative and like a variety of activities each day, this could be the job for you!
There are full time, permanent roles working 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday (40hrs/week), or as per operational requirements. We also have some casual roles available, working 40hrs/week.
Duties Include:
* Installing components and accessories into our range of boats as per customer orders
* Maintain high quality standards in work
* General labouring duties, cross training in other sections where required
What we are looking for:
* Good hand and power tool knowledge and experience
* Experience with installs, accessory fitting, cabinet making or carpentry would be highly regarded
* Show initiative and willingness to learn.
* Reliability with great attendance
* Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
* Have your own reliable transport
* Full Australian working rights
* Attention to detail and take pride in the quality of your work
* Willingness to learn and develop skills within our boat building operations
