About the Role
We are seeking a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Child Care Worker to join our centre on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will support children's growth and well-being through engaging activities, supervision, and daily routine assistance.
As part of our team, you will contribute to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can flourish.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and provide high-quality care in a safe, engaging environment.
Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities that foster creativity and learning.
Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through structured play and hands-on experiences.
Assist with daily routines including meals, dressing, hygiene, and promoting independence.
Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, hygiene practices, and supervision requirements.
Build positive and professional relationships with children, families, and team members.
Prepare learning materials and set up educational and recreational activities.
Encourage positive behaviour and support children in developing essential social skills.
About You
Passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to children's well-being.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Hold Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, creative, and nurturing in your approach to childcare.
Hold, or be willing to obtain: First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
Complete the necessary Child Protection and Child Safe Standards training.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
