Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and diligent Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen team at Accor Canberra Airport.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen. This includes cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces, as well as ensuring that all waste is disposed of properly.
In addition to your cleaning responsibilities, you will also provide support to our kitchen team with various tasks such as food preparation, grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes, and seasonings.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain impeccable hygiene while cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods.
* Carry out rubbish removal, sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors.
* Disinfect and clean, ensuring the proper sequence of chemical usage.
