The Position
In the role of Team Leader/ Department Head your key responsibilities will include:
* Manage a boutique, premium portfolio with the support of a dedicated Junior Property Manager
* Mentor and support a team of Property Managers and Leasing Consultants
* Assist with training, onboarding, and day-to-day team development
* Provide guidance around legislation, compliance, and best practice
* Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
* Handle escalated issues and help drive exceptional customer service standards
* Work closely with leadership to improve systems, processes, and overall team performance
The Person
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Leader/ Department Head with a passion for people, performance, and process improvement.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have proven experience managing a Property Management team
* A current NSW Certificate of Registration or Licence
* Have strong knowledge of NSW legislation and be able to translate it into everyday practice
* Be highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
* Be confident handling escalations and driving outcomes
* Be a clear communicator who can lead through change and support a strong team culture
* Have a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
