About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Operator to join our team in a challenging and rewarding career opportunity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating light and medium rigid vehicles, towing trailers, and performing maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment.
* Operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes)
* Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow
* Operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane
* Carry out general road worker labouring duties of a Road Worker Grade 3
The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining a safe and injury-free workplace, be able to work under limited supervision, and reside within a 50km radius of the depot.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* Medium Rigid - Medium Rigid Vehicle Licence
* Current Construction Industry White Card
* Traffic control certifications (Traffic Controller / Implement) or willing to obtain before commencement
Laboring experience in a construction or civil environment and knowledge of local road networks across the district would be advantageous.
