Learn more about our care home at: Bupa Baulkham Hills Aged Care Baulkham Hills () The heart of the role As our Quality and Education Manager, you will lead the home in quality care and services, ensuring governance, compliance, and team competency meet the Aged Care Quality Standards. You will identify improvement opportunities, support remediation efforts, and coach the leadership team for sustainability. This position is a fixed-term contract for maternity leave cover. Candidates must be currently residing in Australia with valid work rights. In this role, you will: Provide quality-focused leadership and coaching. Guide documentation and record-keeping to meet expected outcomes. Develop team members' knowledge of practice expectations within the Aged Care Quality Standards and their scope of practice. Identify skill and knowledge gaps and create development plans. Prepare the care home and staff through preparedness activities and maintain currency of the Commission Entry Questions. Maintain the Care Home's Continuous Improvement Plan (PCI) and track progress with leadership. Complete and analyze the monthly Quality Indicator Report, discussing insights and ensuring improvements are implemented. Ensure timely submission and analysis of Government NQIP data, documenting and acting on improvements. Coordinate all monthly Care Home Audits within the operational audit program. Manage and deliver high-quality, person-centered clinical care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation. Maintain accurate records compliant with policies, legislation, and privacy standards. What you will bring Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA registration is essential. Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) are desirable. Proven experience in delivering quality clinical care, coaching, and training. Ability to foster teamwork and build collaborative relationships.
