Role
A newly created opportunity within our Canberra office for an experienced Staffing Solutions Consultant. You will partner with sales and delivery teams to grow client relationships and revenue.
Role Responsibilities
- Create effective pre‐qualified talent pools within ACT federal disciplines
- Develop and maintain working relationships with customers in your dedicated territory
- Consult customers on budgets, requirements and outcomes
- Take effective job briefs to understand role fit
- Work with Resourcing to review talent pools and create awareness
- Identify appropriate sourcing strategies to use for vacancies
- Prepare and manage advertising, drafting ad copy and ensuring brand consistency
- Agree on update frequency and keep clients informed on recruitment progress
- Filter CVs, conduct initial interview process (phone, video/face‐to‐face) and forward shortlisted candidates
- Develop and maintain informal and formal relationships internally and externally
- Respond to client requirements with urgency and importance
- Build credibility with clients and candidates and engage in problem solving
- Focus on delivering an exceptional candidate and client experience
- Produce written reports to required standard
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience recruiting ICT roles in an agency or staff augmentation setting, specifically in ACT/Federal Government
- Demonstrable stakeholder and account management skills
- Success in hitting sales targets regularly
- Strong sense of urgency and self‐motivation
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Result‐driven and competitive with strong desire to win
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, innovative and willing to learn
- Team player who wants to achieve success and have fun
- Understanding of Boolean search and experience with social media sourcing techniques
