**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 2-month contract paying $29.92Hour + Super. This role is located in Hurstville.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint an Admin assistant with a leading NSW Government agency. This role is responsible for providing a range of routine administrative services to facilitate the smooth operation of the team/unit.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Provide a range of routine administrative activities to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the team/unit that support delivery of services to clients/customers.
- Process business information and contribute to the maintenance of administrative systems to ensure the flow of information is in accordance with standards and guidelines.
- Use relevant technology to prepare documentation and presentation material to support business unit managers and directors.
- Support the use of business unit filing systems in accordance with standards and guidelines, by creating, storing, retrieving and tracking files to ensure the accurate and safe storage of information.
- Work and maintain regular contact with other business areas to effectively arrange meetings and manage the flow of business information.
- Provide reception duties as necessary, respond to enquiries and escalate issues appropriately to ensure queries are responded to in a timely manner.

**About You**
- Previous experience with administration is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Work collaboratively in a team
