Sr. Account Executive – Rimini Street

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Create awareness and demand for Rimini Street products and services by developing your territory with the support of field marketing and planned outreach.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow‑up, networking, and collaboration with the lead generation team. Developing your own sales qualified leads is a strong requirement.
- Establish a dialogue with prospects to understand their goals, problems, and needs.
- Guide prospects’ strategic vision towards Rimini Street solutions.
- Create or customize sales presentations, positioning statements, and collateral for specific opportunities.
- Drive the sales process by collaborating with Sales Engineers, Delivery, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Finance, and other functional peers to win opportunities.
- Implement and utilize social and digital selling strategies to maximize opportunities via social networking platforms.
- Be an expert in LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools to develop your own unique outreach in your territory.
- Update and track all activities in our Salesforce CRM tool.
- Leverage Clari or similar sales efficiency tools to manage opportunities.
- Accurately forecast and meet quarterly and annual sales commitments.
- Continuously learn and stay current on the latest technology, products, offerings, and selling tools/skills.

Skills

- Strong territory and account planning skills with a passion for prospecting.
- Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills with effective communication at C‑level and across functions.
- Consultative sales approach ability.
- Solid writing and presentation skills.
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience with social and digital selling techniques.
- Deep knowledge of prospecting and selling tools.
- Ability to work under stress and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong work ethic with a “can do” attitude.
- Leverage support teams including Sales Engineers, Lead Generation, Marketing, Business Development, and Inside Sales.

Education

Bachelor's degree required.

Location

Remote – Sydney, Australia.

Employment type

Full‑time.

Experience

- 10+ years of overall sales experience.
- Command knowledge of the enterprise services industry.
- Record of sustained and significant quota over‑achievement.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in a non‑sales role such as sales engineering, consulting, or managed services.
