What you'll be doing As a Graduate Information Technology Analyst at Alcoa, you will learn, grow, and develop hands-on experience and expertise in:

Developing capability and expertise as a technology professional in supporting mining or refining operations. Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of mining systems and software applications. Assisting with project management duties associated with delivering operational systems and software applications. Analyzing operational data to troubleshoot issues arising from the use of IT systems in operations equipment. Engaging directly with site-based customers to gather requirements and provide input into technology roadmaps. Assisting in building standards and specifications for onboard operational technology installations. Understanding and practicing safety procedures and controls to keep all Alcoans safe while working in an active operating area. Development and mentoring Throughout the program, you will be provided with:

Is a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously. Uses initiative and takes ownership of their work. Has strong communication and well-developed people skills. Thinks analytically and is open-minded with a creative and collaborative approach to problem solving. Drives positive outcomes with the ability to engage with and understand customers. If you are on the path to graduate or have recently completed tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, we want to hear from you!
