About Our Youth Support Program
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in providing support services to young people in out-of-home care.
* Active Support: We assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, dressing, and transportation, while also planning and achieving goals with the young person.
* Health Support: We administer medication and follow health support plans to ensure the well-being of the young person.
* Positive Behaviour Support: We manage behaviours, triggers, and escalations to create a safe environment.
* Safeguarding: We prioritize the safety of both the young person and ourselves, documenting incidents and reporting as necessary.
About You
* You will have a demonstrated motivation to work with young people and be available to work rotating rosters, including weekends and overnights.
* A current paid working with children check is required, along with a national police check.
* You must hold a valid driver's license and first aid certificate.
* Relevant qualifications, either held or being worked towards, are essential for this role.
