Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of complex engineering projects for the Australian Defence Force.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a process-driven environment. They will be able to effectively work autonomously and in a team, and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide electrical engineering solutions including design, analysis, implementation, test and lifecycle support of defence assets.
* Develop Engineering Change Proposals using change management processes and conforming to relevant quality management and Australian Standards.
* Conduct testing against approved baselines for verification and validation, including development and execution of test procedures and analysis documentation.
* Support enabling capabilities regarding troubleshooting and upgrading of capabilities, requiring liaison with operations, maintenance, and logistics staff, as well as defence users.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
* Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a process-driven environment.
* Strong understanding of Australian Department of Defence's operating environment and standards.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
