Electrical Automation Specialist

Achieving environmentally sustainable and affordable housing is a pressing global challenge. To address this, we seek an innovative professional with expertise in designing and manufacturing quality structural components using industrialized construction methods.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated and skilled electrical automation specialist who can join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in electrical engineering combined with extensive hands-on experience in automation, mechanical, and industrial maintenance.

The key responsibilities of this position include ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of critical systems through comprehensive preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

* Interprets and analyzes complex electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical, electronic, and control systems.
* Performs maintenance and repair on automated systems including those with embedded digital systems and integrated safety protocols.
* Executes preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, performing mechanical overhauls, and replacing worn or damaged components.
* Develops and implements preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation systems.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, electronic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
* Experience with embedded systems programming and device flashing.
* Strong analytical and fault-finding skills with complex electromechanical systems.

Benefits:

* Competitive salary range: AUD $80,000 to AUD $90,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
