Feros Care is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Officer to join our team, working across both of our Residential facilities in Wommin Bay and Bangalow. This is a permanent part-time position where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Officer, you'll be responsible for the upkeep and presentation of our Residential Aged Care Facilities, ensuring they remain protected, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors. Working across both internal and external areas, you'll carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and gardening, while coordinating with contractors and supporting workplace safety.
This role involves:
- Performing general and trade-level repairs, maintenance, and groundskeeping
- Ensuring compliance with safety, infection control, and organisational policies
- Liaising with management, staff, and external contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and schedules
- Contributing to a vibrant, well-maintained environment for our community
About You:
- Previous experience in maintenance, repairs, gardening or a trade background
- Skilled in problem solving and able to work independently
- Reliable, organised and able to manage tasks across multiple sites
