Accountant – Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) | Engineering/Construction – Contract We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a solid background in Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) reporting, ideally gained within the engineering, resources or construction industry. About the Role: Working within a dynamic project-based finance team, you will take ownership of the FBT reporting process and support broader tax compliance activities. This role is key in ensuring accurate reporting of complex employee benefit arrangements across a national and international workforce. Must Have Experience In: Preparing and lodging Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns in Australia Managing Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA) arrangements Handling tax compliance for expatriate or overseas-based workforces Navigating ATO guidelines relating to remote project workforces and travel-related benefits Ensuring compliance for meal and entertainment benefits, housing, and transport provisions Working within engineering, construction, or resources sector finance teams Strong proficiency with ERP systems and Excel-based reconciliations Location: Melbourne/Remote T ype: Contract Start Date: ASAP If you’re an accountant with deep FBT experience and a practical understanding of mobile and international workforces, we’d love to hear from you.
