Business Support Professional

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support Professional to provide essential administrative and operational support to busy field-based teams and depot operations.

This is a fantastic long-term contract opportunity within a fast-paced, service-driven environment, supporting critical road services operations across the region.

About the Role

* Deliver high-quality administrative, finance and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day depot operations.

You will work as part of a collaborative Business Support network, partnering closely with managers, supervisors and operational crews, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.


Main Responsibilities

* Process timesheets, overtime, TIL and allowances accurately and efficiently.
* Manage labour costing, invoicing and accounts payable administration, ensuring timely payment.
* Order materials and uniforms, manage office and operational supplies effectively.
* Create and maintain Purchase Orders, streamlining procurement processes.
* Administer local facilities and fleet, including logbook management for optimal performance.
* Coordinate accommodation and travel arrangements for staff.
* Provide office support, including stationery and general administration tasks.
* Support with procurement, stocktakes, asset disposal and delivery coordination.
* Assist with document preparation, reports, spreadsheets, agendas and minutes, enhancing team productivity.
* Support people operations, including training coordination and recruitment administration.
* Maintain accurate work orders, records and data in line with policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.

Required Skills:

* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly detail-oriented and able to multitask.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
