Chef Manager Job Description
* Food Service Operations Manager - Plan, supervise, and manage food production and menu-based catering onsite.
* Manage stock control, budgets, weekly reporting, staff mentoring, and training - both front and back of house.
* Build and leverage positive customer and client relationships to achieve partnership objectives.
* Manage finances within a budget and maintain efficient operations across multiple services.
* Ensure contract compliance is met and understand the scope of work required (including all OH&S compliance).
Key Responsibilities:
* Hands-on planning and management of food production and menu-based catering onsite.
* Responsible for stock control, budgets, and weekly reporting.
* Building and leveraging positive customer and client relationships.
* Managing finances within a budget and maintaining efficient operations.
* Ensuring contract compliance and understanding of the scope of work required.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A thorough understanding of allergens and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
* Good understanding of the NSW healthy eating framework.
* Experience with full P&L Management and menu creation and costing.
* Strong people management skills and ability to deliver high standard of customer-focused service.
* Contract management experience and intermediate computer/Microsoft office skills.
